Most AI assistants start from zero every time you open them. They don't know your daughter has a game on Thursday, or that your son has been struggling with his morning routine, or that you're trying to plan a family trip in October. You have to re-explain everything every time.
Kin is different because it's embedded in your family data. When you ask it "what should we do for family connection this week?" it knows who's in your family, what Campfires you've had, what your weekly pulse results showed, and what's on the calendar. The answer it gives is actually about your family.
What you can ask Kin
Kin handles both practical and emotional questions. On the practical side: suggest a meal based on what's in the pantry, help organize this week's schedule, remind me what chores are overdue. On the softer side: what's a good conversation starter for a one-on-one with my teenager, how do I introduce a consequence without it turning into a fight, what are some screen-free activities for a rainy weekend?
It also proactively surfaces things — a reminder that your family hasn't had a Campfire in two weeks, a note that one of your kids' pulse scores has been low three weeks in a row, a suggestion based on a pattern it noticed.
The Campfire pipeline
After each Campfire, Kin reads what was shared and generates private suggestions for parents — follow-up conversation starters for individual kids, things to watch for, moments worth acknowledging. You don't have to do anything with it. But it's there when you want it.
What Kin doesn't do
Kin doesn't replace parenting decisions. It doesn't tell you what's right for your family. It makes information easier to access, helps you think through problems, and handles the kind of mental work that happens in the background of running a household. It's a thinking partner — a capable one that never forgets, never gets tired, and is always available.
Ask it something. See what it knows about your home.
